[WHAT] L.A native Sonny Moore aka Skrillex is taking over the electro scene and it seems like a few people had already predicted it would happen. DeadMau5 quickly signed Skrillex onto his label Mau5Trap and had him opening through his latest tour. Having coined this “dubstep-progressively-housey-hardcore” sound he has developed though his metal/punk background and electro passion, Skrillex is not committing to a specific genre but continues to take the electro movement a step further. His latest project in the works is a 3.D CGI music video for “Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites” EP released right before Halloween, this sounds like its going to be epic. [WHAT] Most known for their chart topping hit “We No Speak Americano”, Yolanda Be Cool started out in Sydney, Australia and soon after their music got to Euro club scene their sound took off.  Now touring globally, Yolanda Be Cool provided fist pumpers all over the world the sounds that keep them going till the am. After partnering up with Aussie producer DCUP, Yolanda Be Cool was featured on the Afro Nuts EP put together by Australian indie label Sweat It Out in 2009. The duo produces an interesting blend of Caribbean, Afro, cCngo sounds with club and electro overtones, and with over 28 million hits on YouTube, they might be on to something. [WHAT] It’s only right that React Events balances out a night of insane headliners over at the Congress with a wild after party to follow it up. UK Trip hop and electro specialist Tipper will be throwing down one of his eerie yet upbeat sets along side Pretty Lights Music’s new member Paper Diamond. Hailing from Denver, Colorado producer Alex B, who now goes under the name Paper Diamond, is the newest artist to sign on to Pretty Light’s Music label. Paper Diamond will be coming out with his debut EP, Levitate, by January 25th 11′. We’ll defiantly be keep our ears out for this one. Watch as the masses react to Diamond’s energetic and cutting edge sound.

[WHAT] Rising dubstep DJ and producer, Nit Grit, hails from San Jose, California and has strategically put himself on the map with his unique grimey drops and melodic song progressions. This is the kind of dubstep I would show to someone who’s never heard of the genre, given its not as glitchy and hardcore. The dubstep/electro filled night will also be showcasing some bounce dubstep from Spankalicious recently ranked “Top St.Louis DJ” by the River Front Times. A blend of Cali and Midwest dubstep should showcase a cool variety of bpm’s and bass sounds.
