[WHAT] I’ve been getting into drum n bass a lot more lately and this all Chicago line-up is sitting on a vault of amazing remixes and original tracks. With different styles of spinning and mixing tracks Stunna is a Chicago DJs known for his innovative funk and jazz speed up to create some head bumping drum n bass music. Balanced out with soft synths and smooth break downs, the drum n bass genre has its sect of strong followers, but like all other electronic sub-genres there is much room for experimentation and creativity. I’m excited to see what else these windy city DJ’s have up their sleeve.

Resourcefulness, Creativity and sheer musical talent separate these guys from the rest. Auto Body’s use of different synths and electro sounds mesh perfectly with the instrumental base creating this live electro fusion. Having just released a seven song party EP called Priest Party , many await their album drop which should be by the end of 2010.With openers Bird Peterson and Lo Bounce also on the line up this should be a tack on the calendar for all you live music junkies out there.

Their modern seating and construction is really well balanced with the casual and ambient lighting that makes the venue very intimate, not to mention their bars are stocked and their sound system rocks. This line-up is awesomely eclectic mixing some great dub, drum and bass and synths with ambient, dreamscape , instrumental sounds to create a great musical experience. Delorean, the headliners, are a Spanish group thats getting a lot of buzz right now due to their album Real Love charting with its single named the same as the album.

I’ve seen BBU and MidnightRockers tag team a set and the outcome is full of energy and smooth transitions. I’m excited to see the rest of the line up tear up the stage.
