[WHAT] Born in Chicago, Felix Da Housecat aka Thee Madkatt Courtship, Aphrohead, Sharkimaxx began his house and electro legacy at the age of 15 recording his first single in 87′ called “Phantasy Girl”. After leaving the house scene for a while Felix returned stronger than ever and picked up a growing fanbase in Europe. With many tours under his belt and his own successful record label, Felix Da Housecat, house music and indie electro extraordinaire, will be throwing down one of his acclaimed sets at The Mid.

[WHAT] Justin Long, a windy city resident, started DJing at the age of 15 and began exploring his passion for the decks. After hearing house music on WBMX radio Long began to delve deep into the genre and now is recognized as one of the city’s house pioneers. Staring off strong in Chicago, Long’s following became strong enough to begin touring. With premier UK and U.S venues under his belt, Long has now looked to work in conjunction with 20:20 Vision to start his own record label called .DotBleep which features artist such as: Natural Rhythm, Sawtooth Sucka, Trade Marq and Miles Maeda. Now with so many sub-genres House is too broad of a genre and DJ’s are specializing in specific styles of House.
